"Lord the glory due to his name; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness”...
1 Chronicles 16:29
WORSHIP
‘A time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.’
John 4:23

Jesus said that the Father was seeking those who would worship him in spirit and in truth—not to get a thrill, but because God is the object of our worship, and he’s worthy to be praised. Whether we’re praising the Lord corporately or in the privacy of our own home, it can’t be just an outward form of worship. In our hearts, we have to acknowledge Jesus as Lord and lift up his holy name in praise and adoration, whether we express it outwardly by making a joyful noise, or we express it with silent meditation and tears.
"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified." Isaiah 61:3 KJV
